Sabco is now pleased to offer a conversion ( retrofit ) kit, which will allow the new version
thermocouple to be attached to older model Brew-Magic Systems. This complete package of
components includes all the items as seen in the above left photo including new temperature gauge,
probe style thermocouple, protective housing, conduit & ties, tee, and coupler . By making this
conversion, your previous model Brew-Magic will be improved in several ways :
a) This probe style thermocouple is directly in the wort flow at the outlet to the mash kettle allowing a more
accurate reading as wort is in circulation.
b) Because of the location of the thermocouple, the signal to the controller is received immediately, rather than
with the slight delay of the previous remote position. This eliminates the possibility of error as wort may cool
slightly during transport through plumbing.
c) Protective conduit and aluminum housing, keeps the thermocouple wire safely away from heated surfaces.

Note that the thermocouple retrofit kit is available with either brass or stainless fittings to match your
Brew-Magic configuration. Current upcharge for stainless is $50. Simply specify your choice below.
