INTRODUCING
RIMS-WIZARDTM
RIMS-WIZARD
rwiz1
In keeping with its
high-tech line  of brewer
components and systems,
SABCO  has  recently
introduced   a unique,
heat-controlling
component system that is
designed to utilize key
elements of its globally
popular Brew-Magic Pilot
System.  Designed to assist
small-batch, all grain
brewers,  this little device
will perfectly regulate
mash temperatures within
a fraction of a degree
without introducing the less
than repeatable
consequences of mash
stirring, aeration,
caramelization,  or  kettle
heat layering
(stratification).
Aptly named ‘RIMS-WIZARDTM ,  SABCO
combines the very smart Unitronics
Vision 130 controller with its very
own,  brewer savvy ‘
MagicSoft LiteTM
programming, along with SABCO'S
stainless design, tri-clamp adapted
heat exchanger.
Onboard the
RIMS-WIZARD, brewers
will also find an excellent heat
resistant pump,  and full instructions
to upgrade your system with  balanced
‘Brew-Magic’ methodology currently in
use by pilot brewers globally.

RIMS-WIZARD incorporates the Unitronics V130 controller with Sabco's Magic-Soft Lite version software
which perfectly manages the recirculating wort without caramelizing.  The system comes with a sensor
probe to supply temperature data to the V130 controller,  a heat resistant pump, and a solid stainless,
electronic heat exchanger with tri-clamp heating element.  Used with low, non-aggressive wattage, RIMS
WIZARD will gently acquire and maintain your circulating wort within one tenth of a degree ( 1/10th ).

Purchase Sabco's Pro-Level, Brew-Magic mash kettle,
( Click  Here ) or use your own mash kettle with a
false bottom, to support your grain bed.   Add Sabco’s Mash Outlet Assembly ( optional ) for perfect control
of your RIMS system.   Circulate wort from the mash to the RIMS-WIZARD, and back to the mash without
stirring.  The onboard V130 controller along with Sabco’s ‘Magic-Soft’ programming works to assist you
with coordinating your mash burner to achieve near mash temperature.  At this point,  the controller will
advise that the burner should be turned off and allow the onboard electronic heat exchanger to take
control.  RIMS WIZARD will eliminate potential caramelization,  perfectly blend your wort and eliminate
stratified heat layering while maintaining an undisturbed grain-bed.  Now your grain acts as a static filter, as
the circulating action clarifies the wort for a crystal clean runoff to the boil.
The 'ultimate' answer to the above issues is a well designed RIMS system that keeps the brewers ‘hands out of
the soup’.  The Brew-Magic System, designed by brew-scientists, combines both a pro-level design as  well  as
lab tested,  repeatable methodologies.  This combination,  has made it the most desired' pilot recipe development
tool globally,  and has proven itself with thousands of field studies in over 20 countries.

Not everyone is ready for the ultimate machine however.  For those who choose to 'Improve' rather than ‘Replace'
their existing brewing hardware,  Sabco is pleased to introduce the '
RIMS-WIZARD' SYSTEM.

Every brewer would love to have a rock solid recipe of their own creation that holds true with each batch.   So
what are the answers ?
Easy.   Just do the following . . .

A)        Maintain perfect temperature control throughout the mash period

B)
Eliminate stirring the mash which has been proven to modify the grain husk, mash flour content,
enzyme activity, tannin release,  and overall efficiency.  Small batches are particularly vulnerable to
             modification due to stirring effects.

C)
Eliminate stratified layers of heat throughout the mash.  Do you have a burner under your kettle?  If
so, it's of course warmer on the bottom.  How do you fix this?  Stir in order to achieve uniformity.
               ( See ( b ) above  )

D)
Eliminate off flavors from hot aeration of wort due to sparge arms, bubbling, and stirring.
               ( See ( b ) above  )

E)
Avoid caramelization of the wort on the bottom of the kettle.  Of course you’ll need to stir.
               ( See ( b ) above  )
Most all home-brewers claim to be able to make
great beer.  In a poll conducted at the latest
national home-brewing conference however,
nearly all bravely admitted that they could not
make the same great beer twice in a row!

Making great beer is easy.     Right?
Anyone can do it with a simple pot on a stove,
along with some standard brewing methodology
and a decent recipe.   Making a favorite recipe turn
out the same way twice in a row however,  is the
biggest heartbreak to small batch brewers who
typically only get to enjoy a 'snowflake' batch of
their treasured recipe.
So why should following a recipe be less than repeatable?    The recipe may stay the
same,  but the brewer and the equipment can make brewing far from consistent !
The goal is simply  to help improve the skills of small batch, all grain brewers,  to move
away from less than repeatable brewing techniques and to have dependable
equipment with which they can produce and enjoy their special recipes into the future..

layout for the best use of this amazing device.   This
diagram shows the RIMS-WIZARD utilizing the optional

MASH OUTLET ASSEMBLY ( PR720 ).

This outlet hardware coordinates all inlet and outlet
flows to and from your kettles and the Wizard.  It also
has a connector that allows
the Wizard's sensory probe to be in constant contact
with circulating wort.  Use any of the 3 connectors to
attach to your own kettles.   We also show the designs
of  Sabco's line of  Pro-Level kettles.
WHAT TO BUY . . .
MASH OUTLET ASSEMBLY:
Use this accessory to easily connect and coordinate liquid flow to and from all components.
You'll get:

a)  Thermocouple connector that places probe in the circulating wort stream.   Otherwise you can also
choose to place the probe directly into the mash kettle.
b)  Mash to Boil outlet ball-valve ( SS )
